You Can Afford a Caribbean Vacation

Nothing tops the Caribbean when it comes to vacation destinations that emphasize having fun in the sun. Located to the southeast of Mexico and northwest of Venezuela, the Caribbean is an area in South America where the waters are a stunning blue and the sun is always hot. Traveling to the Caribbean offers something for everyone, from water sports and swimming to hiking and diving, or even just relaxing on the white, sandy beaches.

Paradise can come with a hefty price tag, so many would-be vacationers away from the idea of traveling to the Caribbean. Instead, they save a few dollars by settling for a less exotic locale. Of course, most other destinations can't compare to the many treasures of the Caribbean.

The Glamour and Style of Anguilla

The most northerly of the Leeward Islands in the Lesser Antilles, Anguilla is an island known for the style and glamour of many of its resorts. While Rendezvous Bay Hotel and Villas may not be the most glamorous of Anguilla resorts, it does provide visitors with a stunning location and very affordable rates. You can rent a room at this Anguilla resort from as low as $130 or a villa for just $275. This Caribbean resort hotel is situated on 50 palm-laden acres, with 46 rooms in a dozen low-rise buildings. The resort has been recently refurbished and now boasts white tile floors and simple rattan furnishings. Best of all, it's situated on a one and a half mile stretch of sugary sand beach.

Another remarkable Anguilla hotel group is Ku, which translates to "sacred place" in the Arawak Indian language. It really is a heavenly spot, with 27 suites overlooking Shoal Bay East. The South Beach style accommodations provide guests with minimalist white decor, air conditioning and full kitchens. Room rates start at Ku start from $295.

Antigua is for Lovers

Located just south of another popular Caribbean travel destination of Barbuda, Antigua promotes itself as a luxury Caribbean travel escape. Its many hotels and resorts located around the coastline are all favorites when it comes to honeymooning while visiting the Caribbean.

While you don't need to be on your honeymoon to enjoy Antigua's island charm, the Cocobay Resort's location on a hillside facing the Caribbean Sea makes for a very romantic atmosphere. The idyllic hotel is comprised of 47 Creole-style cottages in soft pastel tones with rates that are very affordable at $240.
